KidZania is a dynamic city built to inspire, educate, and empower kids aged 4 – 14 through immersive learning experiences.


KidZania originated in Mexico City in 1999 and currently has 28 facilities in 20 countries around the world, including KidZania Dallas.

At KidZania, kids independently explore the city and work their way through a world of possibilities. Kids come to KidZania to take on different roles and make sure the city is fully functioning. KidZania has its own government, rules and economy guided by a Declaration of Independence where kids declared themselves responsible of running the city.


Getting started is simple: kids take on different professions, learn about their roles, put on a uniform, start earning and spending kidZos, while learning and having fun!


From police officer to performer to surgeon, KidZania offers more than 100 hands-on role-play activities with a range of difficulty to meet the abilities and interests of every child. Pilots navigate airplanes, television anchors report the news, police officers investigate and chefs prepare tasty food! Real brands represent a variety of industries to make the experiences as close as possible to real life. When kids work, they earn kidZos, KidZania's own currency, so they can pay for goods and services in the city.

We encourage guests to pre-purchase their tickets online through our website. Tickets will also be available to purchase at KidZania's airport check-in counter based on availability. You must check-in to KidZania 2 hours before closing.

Yes, all visitors must check-in at the airport counters for ticket verification, security scanning and to get their matching RFID security bracelets.

Our ticket policy is that all tickets are final, non-refundable and non-transferable, and are only valid for the date they are issued on.


However, our guests can change the date on their tickets for a $5 fee per ticket (subject to availability on the desired switch date).


This change may be done before or after the original ticket date, but will expire three months after this original date.

Your pass includes access to KidZania for the day/entry time you purchased (food, drinks, merchandise, and subscription to our programs are not included).


Each kid ticket also includes 50 kidZos that are used inside KidZania or to redeem for items from the KidZania Department Store.

KidZania Dallas is located on the second level of the Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, Texas (the big red building), between Dillard's and the Food Court, and next to the recently-opened Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas hotel.

General park hours are:


Monday – Thursday: Closed.

Friday: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

To make the most of your visit, we encourage our guests to plan staying for the entirety of our operating hours on the day of their visit. Last admission is two hours before closing.

KidZania's activities are designed to be developmentally appropriate for kids 4 to 14 years old.


Normally, children under 4 years old are also welcome, but due to renovation, most of the designated Toddler Area remains closed until further notice.

KidZania has a play area called the RightZKeepers Neighborhood, with activities tailored for children 4 and under. Due to renovation works, this area will remain closed until further notice.

KidZania is designed for kids to explore their way through the city independently, so only kids can participate in the activities. All establishments have floor to ceiling glass windows to see-in. No adults are allowed to participate, go inside establishments, or hold a spot in line.


Adults are welcome to wait outside establishments or in the Parents' Lounge, equipped with WiFi, TVs, and other amenities. Adults can participate as spectators in some noted establishments such as the Theater, TV Studio, and Interactive Restaurants.


Make sure you follow KidZania Dallas on Facebook or Instagram and check our website regularly for Family Days, where parents can also participate in the activities (limited to 1 adult per child).


For security purposes, adults without children cannot enter KidZania.

KidZania is specifically designed for children ages 4-14, and younger children (3 y.o. and below) have several special activities available to them in a designated area (due to renovation works, the Toddler Area remains closed until further notice).

Most of the professions to role-play require fine motor skills and being able to follow complex instructions, that's why we discourage families with children below our target age from coming in, as they wouldn't get the full KidZania experience.

Yes. At KidZania, kids learn through role-play and immersive exploration. Each activity is aligned with educational standards to enhance and develop skills related to communication, financial literacy, creativity, imagination, innovation, problem solving and decision-making. Kids are doing what comes naturally to them while learning and having fun.

At KidZania, the health and safety of our guests and employees is a year-round priority.

KidZania Dallas was the first business and building in Frisco to receive the Global Biorisk Advisory Council STAR accreditation. It is awarded to the businesses employing disease prevention procedures and advanced cleaning protocols.


Masks are no longer a requirement for KidZania visitors. We encourage our guests to wear them, but that remains within their personal discretion. Our team members can decide if they want or not to wear a mask as well.

o keep our park clean and our visitors safe, we have rigorous cleaning and stringent sanitation procedures in place at KidZania.



KidZania's cleaning and sanitation standards include:

• Extensive training for all team members
• Frequent cleaning and disinfection of all activity areas, before starting a new activity and after it ends
• Immediate response to spills, trash, etc.
• Easy access to handwashing and hand sanitizing

Child-safety measures are integrated into the planning and building of all KidZania facilities.



All kids and adults who enter KidZania are required to go through a security scan and metal detector, as well as wear an RFID security bracelet. RFID bracelets are matched with the corresponding kids and adults. All bags, backpacks, electronics, and all belongings must go through an x-ray machine. Kids cannot leave KidZania without being accompanied by the adult they arrived with.



Security and other measures such as CCTV monitoring cameras, paging system, and emergency facility features are in place to ensure that every guest remains safe at KidZania.



To attend to medical concerns, KidZania has a dedicated and qualified first aid team inside the city.

Firearms, ammunition, and knives are not allowed inside KidZania. Please keep them locked inside your car.

Yes, the following activities are closed for renovation:

• Toddler Area (partly: Organic Farm, Open Stage, Science Lab, Corner Store)
• Media Center
• Zity Tour Bus

It depends on the amount of time kids spend in the city and the type of activities they choose to do. Most of the activities can accommodate 4 to 10 kids at a time and can last between 20 to 40 minutes.

Kids 8 years of age and older can! You can drop-off your child (8y.o. or older) and be sure you'll be the only one authorized to pick them up after a day of independent play at KidZania.


KidZania is designed and built with the safety of all kids' and guests' as our main priority. We require all kids to be checked-in by an adult guardian to receive matching RFID security bracelets. The accompanying adult is the only person responsible and authorized to exit the city with the child that they checked-in.



Kids under 8 must be accompanied by at least one guardian who needs to remain in the city at all times with the child

For security purposes, adults without kids cannot enter KidZania.

Kids of all abilities are welcome at KidZania. KidZania is 100% ADA compliant. Our staff and facility can accommodate kids with special needs and disabilities. A guardian or parent can accompany children with special needs and assist them in doing the activities. There is also an elevators to move from floor to floor.


If you require any specific accommodations during your visit, please email us at info@kidzaniausa.com ahead of time, prior to your visit, so we can explain you what we can do so you and your special needs child have a great experience.

While most activities do not have any special clothing requirements, we highly recommend your kid to wear comfortable clothes (pants/shorts for boys, pants/leggings/tights for girls) and closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops, no open back slip-ons).


For your child's safety, the physical activities, such as the Turner Steel Structure and Takis Rope Access Training require closed-toe shoes and pants.

KidZos is the currency of KidZania. Kids receive 50 kidZos upon check-in. Once inside KidZania, taking on various roles and completing jobs and trades allows kids to earn kidZos, which they can either save at the bank, spend or invest. The idea behind KidZania's economy is to teach kids to teach kids about importance of monetary system, financial responsibility and to appreciate the value of work. We encourage children to visit the Chase Bank and open a savings account. Their kidZos will be deposited in their account and they will get a debit card. They can use the card to pay for products, services or training at the different activities, and get their direct deposit paid to their account. What's best, is that the Chase Bank at KidZania all their account holders a 10% monthly interest rate!

A Zupervisor is a KidZania trained team member who guides kids during the activities. Zupervisors are present at all times to ensure children understand and perform the respective activities properly (and are having fun while learning!).

Parents can sign-up for their kids at the PaZZport Office, inside KidZania.

No, outside food and/or drinks are not allowed inside KidZania (some exceptions may apply). KidZania has several food and beverage options inside for guests to purchase and enjoy, such as Pie Five Pizza, Happy Taco, Zweet TreatZ Bakery, and 7-Eleven. Cash and credit cards are accepted at these establishments.

No, KidZania has great dining options and interactive restaurants such as Pie Five Pizza and Happy Taco (coming soon!), as well as a 7-Eleven convenience store, where cash and credit cards are accepted.

Yes, KidZania's guest parking garage is located directly below KidZania. You can park anywhere around the mall as well. Parking is subject to the mall's parking rules, and regulations.
